Clashbasher hardware
This is very much still a work in progress.
It is more of a proof of concept at the moment, with the clashbasher
hardware connected to a 48k spectrum it is now possible to set the ink,
bright and flash attributes for each individual pixel in the display
without interfering with any other pixel. This is without
changing the spectrum's memory map in any way.
It should be possible even as it stands at the moment, to write a new
machine code game that will be completely free of colour clash and yet
have pixel resolution full colour movement.
I am now working on optimizing the clashbashers firmware to
make it as invisible as possible with zx basic and as many
classic games as possible.
I'll fill this page in with details and diagrams and
files and
stuff like that soon.
